Account Deletion

FamilyCircle provides two different actions: remove this account from one iPhone, or permanently delete the Vejara cloud account and its personal data.

Remove the account from this iPhone

  1. Open FamilyCircle.
  2. Select More → Account.
  3. Select Remove Account from This iPhone and confirm.

This erases the local installation credential, cache, pending drafts, and app data from that iPhone. It does not delete the cloud account, other installations, Circles, or shared data. Deleting the FamilyCircle app has the same limitation.

Permanently delete the cloud account

  1. Connect the iPhone to the internet and open FamilyCircle.
  2. Select More → Account → Delete Cloud Account.
  3. Review the impact, enter DELETE exactly, and confirm the final prompt.

If you own a Circle, first transfer ownership to an eligible adult member or delete the Circle. This prevents leaving a Circle without an Owner.

Cloud-account deletion is irreversible. It revokes every installation credential and recovery path for that pseudonymous identity.

What is deleted

The service removes or anonymizes the account’s memberships, invitations, notification registrations, devices, sharing choices, location and location history, Circle Place data, Chats, Screen Time records, Family controls, alerts, and private planning data according to the service deletion rules. The requesting iPhone then erases its local credential, cache, pending changes, notification state, and diagnostics.

What may remain

Vejara may retain a non-login “Deleted Account” tombstone and privacy-safe security evidence containing event type, time, and correlation without the deleted actor or personal metadata. Temporary encrypted backups, fraud-prevention records, or information legally required to be retained may remain for a limited period and are not used to restore access to the deleted identity.

If you cannot open the app

Email privacy@vejara.com with the subject “FamilyCircle Account Deletion.” Do not send a recovery code or invitation code. Because FamilyCircle does not authenticate by email address or phone number, Vejara may require in-app proof from an active installation and may be unable to identify an account from contact information alone.
