Eligibility and family participation
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. A parent or legal guardian must authorize a child’s participation and is responsible for Apple Family Sharing and Family Controls setup. Circle Owners and Managers must invite only people they are authorized to include and must not misrepresent a person’s role, consent, or identity.
Your account and security
FamilyCircle uses a pseudonymous Vejara identity and installation credentials rather than an email/password login. You are responsible for protecting recovery codes, invitation links, and devices. Contact support promptly if you believe an installation or Circle has been accessed without authorization.
Display names, phone numbers, email addresses, and Contacts entries do not prove a legal identity. You are responsible for confirming who has joined your Circle.
Acceptable use
You may not use FamilyCircle to stalk, harass, threaten, deceive, exploit a child, invade privacy, violate law, bypass consent, gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, distribute malware, or reverse engineer protected service components except where law expressly permits. You must respect every member’s legal rights and Apple permission choices.
Location and Screen Time limitations
FamilyCircle is not an emergency, safety, medical, law-enforcement, or guaranteed tracking service. Never rely on it to locate someone in an emergency. Contact appropriate emergency services.
Location may be delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or stale because of device settings, signal, battery, connectivity, operating-system scheduling, permissions, or a member’s sharing choice. Arrival/departure events and estimated speed are approximate.
Screen Time plans depend on Apple frameworks, permissions, Family Sharing configuration, local selections, and device behavior. FamilyCircle does not guarantee that every restriction, schedule, notification, or request will execute immediately or continuously. Adults retain their own consent and Apple setup obligations.
Your content and Circle administration
You retain rights in content you provide. You grant Vejara the limited permission needed to host, secure, transmit, display, and delete that content to operate FamilyCircle. Owners and Managers can administer Circle information according to their role; only the Owner can delete the Circle or transfer ownership. Deleting a Circle permanently removes its shared data as described in the app.
Service changes and availability
We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features for security, legal, operational, or product reasons. We aim to provide clear notice when practical, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Apple services and Microsoft Azure are outside Vejara’s direct control.
Termination
You may stop using FamilyCircle, leave eligible Circles, remove a local account, or request cloud-account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security risk, legal requirements, or service protection. Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and legal obligations—continue to apply.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FamilyCircle is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or guaranteed availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vejara is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, or harm arising from reliance on delayed or inaccurate location, Screen Time, notification, or Circle information.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Changes, law, and contact
We may update these terms and will revise the effective date. Material changes may require additional notice or acceptance. These terms are governed by applicable United States law, without overriding consumer protections that cannot legally be waived.
